The City Council plans a comprehensive renovation of Mesurado Street to improve its infrastructure and accessibility

The project involves replacing the water and sewer systems, repaving the street, and improving safety and accessibility on this central street located near the Los Remedios Church

The Estepona City Council plans to put out a bid soon for the project to renovate urban infrastructure and repave the central Mesurado Street, located near the Los Remedios Church, with the goal of modernizing existing public services and improving the usability and safety of this street.

The project involves a comprehensive overhaul, with work on both the underground infrastructure and the surface of this street, which connects Fraile Street and María Espinosa Street.

The project will involve the complete replacement of the water supply and sewer systems—a project designed to renovate and improve these infrastructures and adapt them to the area’s current needs.

In addition, the pavement will be renewed across the entire affected area, which will improve the road’s overall condition as well as traffic flow and safety for residents and users.

The project also incorporates accessibility criteria, in accordance with the requirements established in regional regulations, contributing to a safer, more functional, and more accessible urban space.

With this project—part of the municipal initiative “Estepona, Garden of the Costa del Sol,” through which the City Council has renovated more than 130 streets in the town center—progress continues in the modernization of urban infrastructure, with a special focus on improving public services, road safety, and the accessibility of the town’s streets.
