The City Council and the County Board are offering a new free training course as part of the EnRuta Project for the unemployed

The course is titled “Restaurant and Bar Service,” and registration is open through September 10. These training programs offer internships at companies and the possibility of financial aid.

The Estepona City Council announces that registration will remain open through September 10 for one of the new free training courses it is offering in partnership with the Málaga Provincial Council, and which is part of the EnRuta Project aimed at unemployed individuals registered with public employment services and who are registered residents of Estepona. These training programs are co-financed by the ESF+ through the Employment, Education, Training, and Social Economy Program (EFESO)

The course is titled “Restaurant and Bar Service” and will begin in mid-October. It will consist of a total of 210 hours, 100 of which will be practical training and 100 theoretical, with an additional 10 hours allocated to tutoring sessions.

This program offers significant benefits, such as 100 percent free training, both theoretical and practical classes, and the possibility of a financial grant for those with no income or who earn less than 450 euros per month from some form of benefit or subsidy at the start of the program, provided they attend more than 75% of the course.

There are two ways to register: first, those who have a PIN and/or digital certificate can do so through the Málaga Provincial Council’s online portal at https://sede.malaga.es/ied-proyectoenruta5convocatoria. Another option is to print the documentation and submit it to the General Registry of the Estepona City Council; in this case, proof of submission must be emailed to: enruta@malaga.es
