Estepona is once again the starting point for the Solidarity Car Rally ‘Oasis Raid’ 2024

The expedition, which will consist of about thirty vehicles, will depart on Thursday 24 from the entrance of the Sports and Exhibition Center to cross the neighboring country of Morocco, where they will deliver health and educational materials to people in need.

Estepona City Council informs that the city will be again, next Thursday, October 24, the official starting point of the Solidarity Car Rally ‘Oasis Raid’ 2024, an orienteering and motor test aimed at all audiences that combines adventure and solidarity, and that pays tribute to the great motorized crossings and raids through Africa.

In collaboration with the City Council, from 08.00 hours on Thursday, the participating vehicles will access a limited space at the entrance of the Fair and Sports Enclosure, where the teams will be presented and the technical checks will be carried out. In this space will remain until 13.00 hours, at which time the official start will be given and the vehicles will depart for the port of Algeciras to set course for the African continent.

In this twelfth edition of the activity, organized by Motor Adventure SL, will participate thirty vehicles divided into two categories: Raid, consisting of small displacement vehicles registered in the 80s and 90s, and All-Road, of ‘SUVs’ and 4X4 vehicles. The caravan will cross the neighboring country of Morocco from October 25 to 31, and will travel a unique itinerary created for the occasion, divided into seven stages on track, which will test the physical and mental endurance of the participants and the mechanics of the vehicles.

One of the basic pillars of Oasis Raid is solidarity with the most disadvantaged inhabitants of those territories where the race takes place. Thus, the expedition will deliver health and educational material to people in need.
