The Estepona Municipal Band chooses a program of modern popular music for the penultimate concert of the summer season.
Sunday 20, at 21:00 hours, in the Plaza del Reloj. The concerts will take place every Sunday, until August 27, with free access.
The Estepona City Council reports that the Municipal Band of Estepona (BME) will perform next Sunday, August 20, the fifth of six concerts that includes the summer season. It will be at 21:00 hours in the Recinto Musical Maestro Navarro Mollor, located in the emblematic Plaza del Reloj, with a program of ‘Modern Popular Music’.
This is the fourteenth season of the BME under the direction and artistic direction of maestro José Antonio López Camacho. During the six free performances included in this cycle, will be interpreted by the Municipal Band of Estepona more than fifty works, including soundtracks of television series and films, great classical works, zarzuelas, original music for band, modern popular music … until concluding on August 27.
The summer season will conclude next Sunday, August 27th with the concert ‘Music and Cinema’. As in each edition, each of the concerts will end with the interpretation of the Hymn of Estepona, with lyrics and music by the remembered maestro Manuel Navarro Mollor.
