The councilor, who has held a meeting with Petr Kratochvíl, responsible for public transport in the second municipality of the Czech Republic, has announced that work is being done on the twinning of the two cities.
The mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, has held a working meeting with Petr Kratochvíl, councilman responsible for public transport in the Czech city of Brno, and members of his team.
The alderman has announced that both councils are working on a proposal for the twinning of these two municipalities, which have in common the interest in the preservation of historical spaces, the commitment to the creation of green areas and the revitalization of them through cultural projects.
García Urbano also highlighted the work of university knowledge carried out in Brno with the implementation of more than thirty faculties that host nearly 90,000 students each year.
The mayor explained that the teams presiding over both municipalities will work together in future tourist and cultural activities that will have an impact on the quality of life of citizens.
