Local Government Supports Innovative Educational Project Promoting Sustainability and Values at Los Olivos School
The City Council has backed an innovative educational project led by Los Olivos School that focuses on sustainability and values-based learning. The Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, visited the school with the director, Víctor García, to learn more about the initiative firsthand. She emphasized the importance of instilling environmental awareness, respect for public spaces, and an active commitment to city improvement in children from a young age. The project, developed by 2nd-grade students, addresses the issue of litter caused by gum and fruit peels on the streets with a creative and feasible solution following a thorough research process.
