Marbella Marina Installs Six Nature-Inspired Micro-reefs for Marine Biodiversity Renaturalization

Marbella's Virgen del Carmen Marina is undergoing a sustainability and efficiency process to protect the marine environment. The initiative started with the installation of six structures mimicking natural reefs to promote the renaturalization of the aquatic ecosystem within the port area. Known as 'Life Boosting Units', these elements act as biomimetic reefs, designed to seamlessly integrate into port infrastructures without disrupting their operations.
