Presentation of the Book 'Morante, Point and Aparte' at the Royal Hospital of Mercy Tomorrow
The Royal Hospital of Mercy will host an event tomorrow, Friday, at 7:00 p.m., with the journalist and writer Rubén Amón discussing his book 'Morante, Point and Aparte'. The event, presented by the journalist Paco Reyero, will have free entry until full capacity. The discussion will provide a deep reflection on the figure of Morante de la Puebla, analyzing the reasons and irrationalities that have made the bullfighter a mass phenomenon, a countercultural idol, and an extreme artistic representation. Morante's transformation into a social, political, aesthetic, and cultural symbol has coincided with his most captivating season in 2025, establishing him as a transversal figure that transcends the strictly bullfighting sphere.
