A total of 218 swimmers participated on Sunday in the 9th Virgen del Carmen Coronada Swim in Estepona

The event took place on Sunday, July 26, at La Rada Beach
The Estepona City Council reports that last Sunday, the eighth edition of the Virgen del Carmen Coronada Swim was held at La Rada Beach, a non-competitive, non-profit event in which a total of 218 participants (28 clubs and 75 independent swimmers) took part, 18 of whom—from three categories—were members of the Estepona Swimming Club.

The Virgen del Carmen Coronada Swim Crossing is organized by the Estepona Swimming Club (CNE), in collaboration with the Estepona City Council, and remains committed to encouraging the practice of swimming and promoting participation by both local athletes and swimmers from different parts of Spain and Europe.
The event also maintains its charitable nature thanks to its partnership with the Hermandad Nuestra Señora del Carmen Coronada. Non-perishable food items donated by participants are donated to Cáritas Parroquial del Carmen.
