Cancelada Prepares for Spooky Halloween Celebration

Estepona Town Hall is organising a Halloween party in Cancelada on Friday, 30 October 2026, featuring costume contests, live shows, and activities for all ages

Estepona Town Hall has announced plans for a Halloween party in Cancelada, offering a fun-filled day for families and residents to enjoy the autumn festivities. The event will take place on Friday, 30 October 2026, in the Plaza de la Juventud, featuring a programme designed for all ages, combining children's activities, shows, costume contests, and music.

A Day of Spooky Fun

The celebration is set to begin at 17:00 with the opening of registrations for the costume contest and a mask painting workshop. These activities will allow younger attendees to immerse themselves in the imaginative and creative spirit of Halloween.

At 17:30, a terrorific show by Deestreno Event Shows will provide entertainment for the afternoon. Following this, at 19:00, the costume parade and contest will take place, showcasing participants' original characterisations.

The day will continue at 20:00 with a terrorific dance performed by Academia Solo Flamenco, directed by Ana Guerrero, bringing an artistic close to the evening's entertainment.

Prizes for the Most Terrifying Costumes

The costume contest will award cash prizes across three categories, recognising originality and stage presence:

• Most terrifying child character: €50, for participants up to 14 years old.
• Most terrifying adult character: €100.
• Most terrifying group: €200, for groups comprising a minimum of four members.

Throughout the celebration, attendees will also be able to enjoy a bar and a roasted chestnuts stand, enhancing the festive atmosphere of the autumnal season.

Begoña Ortíz, Deputy Mayor for the Extrarradio area, invites both children and adults to join in a day where costumes, music, and fun will be the main attractions.
