Estepona will once again host the National Tennis Circuit RPT-Marca by Wilson, the longest running in the national scene.

The trials will be held from May 26 to June 1 at the Estepona Tennis and Paddle Club, with the support of the Estepona City Council and the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation.

The councilman attached to the delegation of Sport, Luis Gil; the president of the Professional Tennis Registry RPT, Luis Mediero; and the president and manager of the Tennis and Paddle Club of Estepona, Fernando and Alberto Gil, respectively, announced today that the city will host again, from May 26 to June 1, the longest-running Youth Circuit of Spanish Tennis, which this year celebrates its thirtieth anniversary.

The test to be played at the Club de Tenis y Padel Estepona, in the youth categories, Cadet U16 and Junior U18, will be directed by Fernando Gil and Alberto Gil, acting as referee judge David Gomez, who will have to coordinate the participants from different parts of Spain.

In addition, during the development of such an important competition, different training and professional certification courses for tennis, paddle and pickleball coaches have been organized by the Professional Tennis Registry, Professional Paddle Registry and Professional Pickleball Registry, which will be taught by Luis Mediero, Alberto Gil and Gabriel Cuadros, respectively.

Registration for all categories: U16 and U18 will be open until Monday, May 19 at 21:00 hours, and can be made through the Circuit website: torneos.icisports.org

During the ceremony the mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, and the president of the Professional Tennis Registry RPT, Luis Mediero, have delivered to Fernando Gil, the International Master Professional, the highest distinction as a tennis coach at the international level. This is a recognition of the highest level that only 56 people in the world have, professionals of the stature of Nick Bollettieri, Antonio Nadal, Emilio and Arantxa Sanchez Vicario and Juan Carlos Ferrero, among others.

The Registro Profesional de Tenis – RPT is the oldest and largest promoter of Junior Tennis in Spain, organizing since 1995 the National Circuit RPT – MARCA by Wilson, which in its 30th edition will have 83 tests throughout the Spanish geography, with the support of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation, and the collaboration of Tennis-Point, NH hotels, NutriSport, HdI, ICI Sports University and APE sport. This year it is estimated that more than 6,000 players will participate in the Circuit.
