EsteponGO! will offer this weekend more than 80 activities related to Manga, videogames and alternative culture.
The event will be held at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos on February 1 and 2, and will be of a charitable nature, as part of the proceeds will be donated to the Fundación Infancia Solidaria, which mainly provides surgical aid to children in developing countries.
Estepona City Council informs that next February 1 and 2 will be held at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos the IX Salón del Manga, Video Games and Alternative Culture, EsteponGO!, organized by the ONGD Infancia Solidaria and Eventos GO! in collaboration with the Consistory.
During these two days, attendees can enjoy more than 80 activities, among which highlights the conference of the dubbing actor Pablo Dominguez, voice of Goku in Dragon Ball in Spain and one of the most recognized dubbing actors in Andalusia.
Other highly anticipated attendees at the event will be Joel Sendo, one of the most fashionable dubbing actors in recent years, with iconic characters such as Okarun, from the Dan da Dan series, or Denji; Los Cazajuguetes, with more than a million and a half followers, the biggest Andalusian specialist in retro toys and toy restoration will visit the event; and Ligimo and Eliana, family humor for all audiences from Tik Tok and Youtube, a father and daughter creating a very accessible humor (their more than one million followers attest to this). In addition, the spectacular violinist Mario Sanz will offer an exclusive concert with the best works of anime and science fiction, in what promises to be a magical moment of the meeting. And, as could not be missing in an event like this, all guests will have talks and meetings with fans.
As for the development of the leisure event, attendees will find different areas delimited, depending on the activity offered. Thus, there will be a ‘gamer zone’ with Playstation 4 booths and more Arcade game booths. In addition, the giant screen tournaments will be back. Another area will be for the development of uninterrupted workshops; visitors will be able to make Anime badges and pixel art figures of Hamma, and the little ones will be able to perform different activities according to their age. There will also be a main stage for K-pop dance contests with more than 400 euros in prizes, and Cosplay contest, as well as kahoots and different activities and games. As a novelty, multi-adventure and free play activities such as Jenga, can toss, connect 4, Soft Archery, freesbe and much more will be added to the proposal.
There will also be a shopping area and artist alley where fans can purchase merchandising and original works of the more than 30 artists who will attend the event.
EsteponGO! has become a reference event in Andalusia within the geek scene and has established itself as a leisure alternative that grows every year in quality and number of visitors.
As in previous years, the event will have a charitable character, so that part of the proceeds will go to the ONGD Infancia Solidaria, a foundation that enables children from different parts of the world can be operated on heart disease in our country, thanks to the agreements that the ONGD maintains with different Andalusian hospitals.
EsteponGO! will be held from 11.00 to 20.00 hours. The price is 4 euros per day. With the flyer on Saturday, the entrance on Sunday will be free.
