Flamenco singers José Bueno ‘Niño de los Brezos’ and Rafael ‘El Lele’ offer the flamenco recital ‘Aires del Mediterráneo’.
They will be accompanied by the guitar of ‘Niño Javi’ and percussionist Diego Yadre.
The show will take place on Friday 21, at 20:00 hours, at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.
The Estepona Town Hall informs that on Friday, February 21, at 8:00 pm, the Padre Manuel Cultural Center will host a flamenco singing recital performed by singers José Bueno ‘Niño de los Brezos’ and Rafael ‘El Lele’. They will be accompanied by the guitar of ‘Niño Javi’ and Diego Yadre on percussion.
The show, called ‘Aires del Mediterráneo’, is designed to offer a recital of flamenco singing and a short introduction of solo guitar. It will be a concert in which the four young artists will interpret traditional flamenco styles in their most classical form, but in a modern and honest way that will cover the purest styles, such as soleares, malagueñas or fandangos mixed with other more rhythmic and festive styles, such as alegrías, tangos or bulerías, looking for the spontaneity and naturalness characteristic of flamenco.
José Bueno ‘Niño de los Brezos’ is a native of Jimena de la Frontera. In 1999 he won the First Prize in the television program ‘Lluvia de Estrellas’ for his imitation of José Monge, Camarón de la Isla, where he performed accompanied by the guitar of ‘Niño Javi’, which led to numerous performances throughout Spain. Later he recorded his first album, directed and composed by Ramón Trujillo, guitarist and composer from Jerez. He currently collaborates with the group Ziryab, now called Entre amigos together with Pedro Sanz, guitarist and composer; Jorge Pardo; Carles Benavent; ‘Niño Javi’; Julián Bedmar and Daniel Casares, guitarists from Estepona.
Rafael Núñez Soto ‘El Lele’ was born in Algeciras in 1983. Cantaor from Cadiz, he has a very flamenco voice echo, a great rhythmic sense and innate talent. He considers himself self-taught, with great enthusiasm and knowledge of the trade. He has toured flamenco clubs and flamenco stages throughout Andalusia and nationally, sharing the bill with great artists such as Capullo de Jerez, Tamara de Tañé, Antonio Madreles and Zarzulita de Jerez, in addition to accompanying the dance, regularly, in the shows of Noelia Sabarea and Monica Bellido, among other dancers.
Francisco Javier López Vélez ‘Niño Javi’ (Estepona, 1979), began studying the guitar at the age of 12 with the guitarist, composer and teacher Pedro Blanco Pulido from Malaga. At the age of 25 he began to record his own compositions, collected in the album ‘Rumba, tanguillo y bulería’. His career in the world of flamenco is marked by national and international awards that recognize his impeccable guitar playing technique and his solid knowledge of flamenco. Niño Javi’ has shared the bill with established stars such as Aurora Vargas, Pansequito, Juana ‘la del Revuelo’, Vicente Amigo and Diego ‘El
Cigala’. A connoisseur of all flamenco styles, he currently alternates performances with his work as a teacher of flamenco guitar techniques in various parts of the province, and accompanies on guitar prestigious singers such as Canela de San Roque, father and son, El Niño de los Brezos, Andrés Lozano, La Divi de Málaga, Bonela Hijo and Julián Estrada, among others.
Diego Yadre is a native of Algeciras and has played with several artists, such as the singer ‘El Tarasco’ or Rafael ‘El Lele’, the dancer José Luis Santiago ‘El Lías’, artists from the area of Campo de Gibraltar, and also with El Monti, among others. In the tribute to Enrique ‘El Extremeño’ intervened with Lela Soto.
