The City Council has designed a plan to implement urban regeneration and social transformation projects with a €20 million investment from European funds. The Local Government Board has reviewed the document for applying to the FEDER for sustainable development of Local Entities, including facilities such as the new library in San Pedro Alcántara and the athletics stadium in Nueva Andalucía. The goal of the 'Integrated Action Plan Convive Marbella 2030' is to execute sports infrastructures and social cohesion spaces that promote inclusion and enhance the quality of life in certain areas of the city.
