Marbella Completes Over a Hundred Maintenance and Improvement Actions in 26 Schools and Three Nursery Schools During the Summer

The City Council has carried out a total of 109 conservation, maintenance, and improvement actions in the 26 educational centers of the city, as well as in the three nursery schools, during the summer campaign, with the aim of ensuring that schools are ready for the new academic year. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, visited the CEIP Federico García Lorca to see the results of the works and highlighted the planning of interventions during non-teaching periods 'to minimize their impact on students and teachers and the operation of the centers.' Specifically, 48 major actions and 61 micro-actions have been carried out to address specific needs in masonry, electricity, locksmithing, carpentry, plumbing, sanitation, and general maintenance. The mayor noted that the City Council 'maintains ongoing coordination with school management teams to address school needs throughout the year' and emphasized that during holiday periods 'they allow for concentrating on works that require longer duration or affect regularly used spaces.'
