Marbella Town Hall Opens Applications for 2027 Sports Event Support
Marbella Town Hall invites applications for municipal support for sports events planned for 2027 from Monday 26 October to 30 November
Residents and property owners in Marbella will be interested to know that the city's vibrant sports calendar relies on careful planning. Marbella Town Hall is now preparing its schedule for 2027.
Marbella Town Hall will open the application period for municipal collaboration in organising sports events for 2027 on Monday 26 October. Clubs, brotherhoods, confraternities, companies, associations, and federations are invited to apply for support. The application period will remain open until 30 November.
This initiative allows the relevant department to develop a comprehensive plan for proposed events. It also helps in evaluating their feasibility and deciding which events will receive support from the local administration.
Councillor Lisandro Vieytes highlighted that Marbella will conclude the current year with 140 sports events. Of these, 12 will be international. Mr Vieytes noted that this level of activity requires thorough calendar planning. This ensures that events do not overlap with other significant city dates and that human and material resources can be coordinated effectively for their execution.
