Peruvian artist Anderson Cueva, based in Estepona, exhibits his paintings at La Casa de Las Tejerinas.

The Estepona Town Hall informs that Room 1 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host from next Thursday, February 20, an exhibition of paintings by Peruvian artist Anderson Cueva, who lives in the city.

The pictorial sample is formed by a selection of ten of his best works, oils on canvas. The inauguration will take place on Thursday 20 at 18:00 hours. It can be visited until March 5, from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm; and Saturdays, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Access is free.

Anderson Cueva is an international artist. He was born in Lima (Peru) on August 19, 1974, and grew up in the district of Año Nuevo. The second of four brothers, he began painting and drawing at an early age. In 1987 he won his first painting-related award. His artwork was sold to galleries and stores in Miraflores.

In his youth he worked in different jobs without leaving aside the art of painting and his other passion: water sports.

After two years in Bolivia he returned to Peru in 2008, and in 2011 he moved to Argentina, where he remained until 2014. He currently resides in Estepona.

His artistic creations have been exhibited on several occasions, and his work has been recognized with several awards for his outstanding contribution to plastic art.
