St. Patrick’s Day, scheduled for tomorrow and included in Ireland Day, suspended due to weather conditions

During the weekend different pubs will offer special offers for this celebration, which is included in the ‘Sharing Cultures’ program for the integration of foreign residents.

The City Council of Estepona informs that due to weather conditions, the St. Patrick’s Day party that was scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, March 14, has been suspended. This celebration is one of the activities included in the celebration of Ireland Day, organized by the City Council within the initiative ‘Sharing Cultures’ aimed at promoting the integration of our foreign neighbors.

The Deputy Mayor of the Extraradio area, Begoña Ortiz, explained that due to the forecast of rain and since the event was held on the Paseo Marítimo, the Consistory has been forced to make this decision.

Although also, the municipal responsible has reported that the Irish Day will continue to be held during the weekend in some pubs in the town, which will offer special offers to its customers on the occasion of the feast of St. Patrick. These are Cooper’s Barrel in Raphael Street 5, Fergusson’s Estepona in Avenida España 168, Golden Corner in Adolfo Suárez de Figueroa Street 8, Healy’s Irish Bar & Restaurant in the Marina and Rory’s Irish Pub in the hotel El Pilar.
