At its most recent meeting, the Antonia Guerrero Díaz Foundation approved the guidelines for awarding scholarships, both for the upcoming academic year and for English language studies during the 2026–2027 academic year.
The president of the Antonia Guerrero Foundation’s Board of Trustees and mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, and the Foundation’s secretary, Ignacio Pérez de Vargas, noted that through these scholarships, the institution helps students from Estepona receive financial assistance for tuition and transportation during their first year of college. As for the scholarships for learning English, they are also aimed at unemployed individuals who require further language training.
During the meeting, agreements were also reached regarding the donations that the Antonia Guerrero Foundation makes to the Foundation for People with Functional Diversity in Estepona (APRONA) and to the Association of Families of Alzheimer’s Patients in Estepona, two organizations of great social significance in the city.
