The Cine-Club kicks off the spring season with the screening of the French film ‘La voie royale’ at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.
It will take place on Thursday, March 20, at 8:00 p.m., with free access.
The Estepona City Council informs that the Cine-Club of the Delegation of Culture starts the spring season with the screening of the French film ‘La voie royale’ (2023), a teen drama directed by Frédéric Mermoud, and starring Suzanne Jouannet, Maud Wyler and Marie Colomb, among others. The film tells the story of Sophie’s struggle to get into a prestigious engineering school.
The screening will take place next Thursday, March 20, at 8:00 p.m., at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. It will be in original version in French with Spanish subtitles. Access is free until full capacity is reached. In collaboration with the Alliance Française de Malaga.
Synopsis: Sophie is a brilliant student. Encouraged by her math teacher, she leaves the family farm to attend a preparatory science class. Through encounters, successes and failures, and in the face of fierce competition, Sophie realizes that her dream of entering the Polytechnique is more than just a competition… it is a real challenge to climb the social ladder.
