The City Council and the ’24 Horas Deportivas’ Foundation present the XXXVI ‘Torres Almenaras’ Awards Gala
Through these awards, which celebrate 36 years of life, the work of individuals and organizations in the field of sport and culture is recognized. The winners will be announced at the gala to be held on Saturday, February 15, at 7 p.m. in the Felipe VI Auditorium.
The councilman attached to the municipal delegation of Sports, Luis Miguel Gil, and the president of the Foundation ’24 Hours Sports’, Manuel Vallejo, today presented the XXXVI Gala Awards ‘Torres Almenaras’, which this year celebrates its 36th anniversary.
Like every year, the Foundation ’24 Hours Sports’, in collaboration with the City Council, will recognize through these awards the effort and work of individuals and entities that have excelled during 2024 in the fields of sport and culture.
The councilman attached to the delegation of Sports has thanked this entity for the great work it has been developing for years in all social areas, and also wanted to congratulate all the candidates proposed, which in this edition have been a total of 63. He also stressed the importance of these awards for the meaning they have and the excitement generated among the winners, which are proposed by the residents themselves and entities of the city.
For his part, the president of the Foundation ’24 Hours Sports’, explained that the gala in which the awards will be presented to the candidates, will be held on Saturday, February 15, from 19.00 hours in the Auditorium Felipe VI. As explained Manuel Vallejo the ceremony will feature as always with surprises and with the participation of the Municipal Band.
