The City Council presents the winning poster to announce the Estepona Youth Year 2025

The author of the winning poster, Marta Quirós Jiménez, received a prize of 1,000 euros. Thirteen young creators between 14 and 30 years of age participated in the competition.
The councilor attached to the delegation of Youth, Julia Simón, today presented the winning poster that will announce the ‘Year of Youth 2025’, a work of the young Marta Quirós Jiménez.
The municipal responsible has announced that the City Council has established a Special Jury Prize, endowed with 1,000 euros, the work of Marta Quiros for its informative and creative character. Likewise, María Fernández Escabias has been the winner of an Honorary Prize of 500 euros, and María Dolores Ortiz Illescas has obtained an Extraordinary Prize of 250 euros.
In addition, the mayor has reported that this contest, convened by the Consistory last December, have competed a total of 13 young artists between 14 and 30 years.
It has also specified that in addition to the three prizes awarded, each of the ten non-winning participants have received recognition for their participation, consisting of a voucher to attend any activity that is part of the program that has been created to celebrate the ‘Year of Juventd 2025’.
The jury, which has been chaired by the councilor attached to the delegation of Youth, Julia Simon, has been responsible for assessing criteria such as the theme of the poster, artistic quality, and creativity and originality.
For his part, the winner of the contest Marta Quiros, explained that his work has wanted to capture everything that evokes her Estepona, the sea, the mountains, culture, flowers, monuments and new buildings that add to the heritage of the city.
