The City Council tenders the works for a new traffic circle on the access avenue to the industrial park.

The traffic circle will be located at the junction with Alemania Street and will reorganize traffic around the traffic circle at the access to Juan Carlos I Avenue.

The Estepona City Council has started the procedures to build a new traffic circle in the José Martín Méndez Avenue in order to reorganize the traffic in this area and in the traffic circle next to the access to the Juan Carlos I Avenue. The project is currently in the bidding phase for the contracting of the works.

This is an area of the municipality with a high concentration of traffic, especially at peak hours, which also connects with the access to the industrial estate. Specifically, the new traffic circle will be located at the junction of José Martín Méndez and Alemania Street. "The objective is to decongest traffic at the traffic circle access to Avenida Juan Carlos I with a new traffic regulation towards the ascent to the industrial park," explains the deputy mayor of Infrastructure and Development, Ana Velasco.

The project goes out to tender with a base budget of 401,415.52 euros (VAT included), and an execution period of two months.

The intervention will be completed with lighting, irrigation and diversion of power lines necessary for the implementation of the new traffic circle in the area.
