The Women’s Delegation celebrates Valentine’s Day with the workshop ‘The substitutes for love’ on affective relationships
It will be held on Friday, February 14, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. Free prior registration is required at the Municipal Women’s Information Center.
Estepona City Council reports that the Psychology Department of the Municipal Women’s Information Center will hold next Friday, February 14, Valentine’s Day, a new edition of the monographic workshop ‘The substitutes of love’, with the aim of becoming aware of how men and women have been educated differently in love processes, and the repercussions this has had on emotional relationships.
The free workshop will be held from 10:00 to 14:00 hours at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, and will be taught by Ana Jesus Andrades Ruiz, psychologist of the Delegation of Women. “All people need to love and be loved; their emotional balance depends largely on it. Women have been educated so that love is the fundamental axis of their lives. Therefore, participants will be able to reflect on some questions such as: What do we understand by love, is it the same as being in love, is love a state, a feeling or a behavior?”, indicate from the municipal delegation of Women.
After the presentation and delivery of the material, an exercise of awareness will be carried out followed by the workshop ‘How music, literature, film, television, advertising and social networks have influenced us in love relationships’. The day will continue with the presentation ‘The three Substitutes of Love (dependence, approval and falling in love)’, ending with the screening of the story ‘Cinderella who did not want to eat partridges’ and a debate.
