Briyana Ivanova (BUL) and the pair Sorana Matis (ESP) and Daria Grigore (ROU), winners of the XII International Junior ITF Costa del Sol Tennis Tournament
The competition, an international benchmark, was held from September 13 to 21 at the Bel-Air Estepona Tennis and Paddle Club, with the participation of more than half a thousand players under 18 years of age.
The Estepona City Council informs about the results of the twelfth edition of the ITF International Junior Tournament Costa del Sol, held from 13 to 21 September 2025 at the Bel-Air Estepona Tennis and Padel Club courts.
In singles, Briyana Ivanova (BUL) won against Marta Gayoso de los Ríos (ESP) 6/1 6/4 and Patrick Moise (GER) defeated Nikita Nikolenko (KAZ) by 6/3 2/6 7/5.
In the doubles, Sorana Matis (ESP) and Daria Grigore (ROU) defeated Emilija Lebedevaiti (GBR) and Daisy Wootton (GBR). In the men's doubles, Daniel Eusamio (ESP) and Hugo Tomás García (ESP) defeated Darío Ortega Ferrero (ESP) and Agustín Siancha Borlenghi (ITA) by 7/5 4/6 10/3.
The ITF Junior Costa del Sol, which was held in 2022 for the first time in Estepona, manages to attract numerous participants due to the fact that the Costa del Sol, and more specifically Estepona, has an ideal climate for playing tennis, added to the existing facilities and the excellent organization of the event. This tournament is part of a world circuit (ITF Junior Circuit) consisting of nearly 2,000 matches spread over the five continents.
The tournament has counted with the collaboration of the Estepona City Council and the sponsorship of the Provincial Council of Malaga.
