Antonio García-Trevijano Fernández. “My journey through the world of drawing began when I was seven years old, when an illness made me stay in bed for three or four months. At the end of the seventies and beginning of the eighties, in San Roque, a town in Cadiz, among some friends, we set up a small artistic movement in which we played with ceramics, sculpture, painting and organized exhibitions. I exhibited in the Casa de la Cultura of San Roque, in the Casa de la Cultura of Sanlucar de Barrameda, in different tea shops in La Linea de la Concepcion and in Algeciras”, explains the artist.
At the beginning of the year 2000 Garcia-Trevijano worked for a gallery in Paris, where he had the opportunity to exhibit in several alternative rooms for beginners. A self-taught artist, in the last 20 years he has deepened in the creation of his own language.
“This exhibition that I have decided to present began as a result of the pandemic, where I had a lot of time to be with myself and reflect, and from there this collection of paintings was born. In this exhibition I have tried to represent in some way my world of thoughts, sensations and emotions,” he stresses.
