City to Commemorate Lesbian Visibility Day on April 26

The City Council will join this Sunday, April 26, in commemorating Lesbian Visibility Day, a date that emphasizes the defense of equality of rights and opportunities for lesbian women, as well as the need to eradicate the prejudices and discrimination that still persist. This day highlights the importance of strengthening the presence of these women in social, political, cultural, and work environments, promoting the creation of positive role models, especially among younger generations.
