Estepona City Council puts out to tender the construction of two new free paddle tennis courts in the outskirts of the city

The new facilities, planned in Nueva Atalaya, will be added to those already existing in the area, which include a paddle tennis court and a multi-sports court.

The Estepona City Council informs that it has tendered the project for the construction of two new paddle tennis courts in the area of Nueva Atalaya, in the outskirts of the city. This action is part of the municipal commitment to continue expanding the network of free outdoor sports facilities and encourage the practice of sport and healthy lifestyle habits among citizens.

The new courts will be located on a plot of approximately 400 square meters and will be added to the existing sports facilities in the area, which include a paddle tennis court and a multi-sports court for the practice of indoor soccer, basketball and other sports. With this initiative, the Consistory continues to improve the municipal sports offer and responds to the growing demand for spaces for the practice of paddle tennis in Estepona.

The project has a base bidding budget of 133,255 euros (VAT included) and a completion period of three months from the award of the works. The construction of these new courts will expand the options for sports practice, revitalize the area and promote social integration through sport.

This action is part of the municipal strategy to provide the suburban neighborhoods with modern and functional infrastructures.
