Estepona hosts a charity paddle tournament to support Nicolas, an 11-year-old boy who suffered a brain tumor.

The charity event will be held on November 7, 8 and 9 at the Estepona Tennis and Paddle Club and seeks to raise funds for their treatments in Barcelona.

The Estepona Town Hall informs that the Estepona Tennis and Paddle Club will host on November 7, 8 and 9 a charity paddle tournament to raise funds for Nicolas, an 11 year old boy who suffers neurological sequelae as a result of a brain tumor.

Although the tumor is in remission, Nicolás needs to undergo specialized treatments in Barcelona that are expensive and difficult for his family to finance. Therefore, this solidarity event seeks to mobilize athletes, neighbors and local businesses to support his recovery and improve his quality of life.

The tournament will include all categories and registrations can be made through the Bola app. In addition, a great solidarity raffle will be held with prizes for attendees, and a zero row will be enabled during the days that the draw is held, as well as the sale of solidarity merchandising, so that everyone, even those who do not play, can collaborate with this cause.

The Councillor for Sports, Luis Miguel Gil, has shown his support for this initiative and noted that, once again, "sport is a tool to unite people and show that extraordinary things can be achieved. We want all Estepona to turn to Nicolás and his family because it is not only a paddle tournament, but an act of solidarity and hope".

For his part, Alberto Gil, president of the Estepona Tennis and Paddle Club, encouraged everyone to participate in this tournament and collaborate with this cause. In this sense, he pointed out that the tournament is open to all ages and categories. In addition, the attending public will be able to collaborate in situ.
