Estepona hosts this weekend the Costa del Sol Manga Festival Vol.3, which in this edition will feature new thematic areas and more activities.

The event will be held from October 24 to 26 at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos and will feature cosplay contests, video game tournaments, exhibitors, workshops, concerts, Japanese cuisine and the official 'OtakuDisco' party, among many other activities.

Estepona City Council informs that during this weekend, October 24, 25 and 26, the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos will host the third edition of the Costa del Sol Manga Festival Vol.3, one of the most important meetings dedicated to manga, anime and contemporary Japanese culture in Andalusia.

After the success of previous years, this new edition returns with a wider program, new thematic areas and a strong commitment to inclusion, local talent and cultural diversity.

The event, organized by the non-profit association Pax Cultural, in collaboration with the City Council, aims to encourage alternative leisure and promote the dissemination of Japanese culture and its influence on art, entertainment and society today, creating an open space for creativity, participation and coexistence between fans and the general public.

The festival will feature mini cosplay catwalks, a video game area with tournaments of different modalities, and various exhibitors, where attendees can find stands of specialty stores, local artists and manga authors, as well as exclusive products. There will also be TCG competitions, concerts, gastronomy, cultural workshops, talks and cosplay contests and the official OtakuDisco party.

The opening will take place on Friday from 16.00 hours, and will close at 21.00 hours, while the opening hours on Saturday and Sunday will be from 10.00 to 21.00 hours. Tickets are priced at 1 euro on Friday, 3.50 euros on Saturday and 2.50 euros on Sunday.

The Festival Manga Costa del Sol Vol. 3 is more than just an event, over time it has established itself as a regional benchmark that combines entertainment and culture, promoting values such as creativity, coexistence and active participation of youth. This is a unique experience for audiences of all ages, in which to celebrate together the passion for manga and anime.
