Fotonoticia: The mayor of Estepona receives the sports director of UAE Team Emirates XRG, Joxean Fernandez ‘Matxin’, after his new victory in the Tour de France
The mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, today held a meeting with the sports director of UAE Team Emirates XRG, Joxean Fernández ‘Matxin’, after his participation in the Tour de France.
‘Matxin’, Adopted Son of Estepona and resident of the city, has achieved a new milestone in his career after the fourth victory of the Slovenian cyclist Pogacar.
The alderman has congratulated the sports director for this great achievement obtained by Pogacar and noted that ‘Matxín’ was always clear that the Slovenian athlete would become one of the great names in cycling.
He also thanked ‘Matxin’ for his willingness to integrate into the city, as well as the humility and simplicity with which he faces the successes he accumulates in his brilliant career.
