Maribel Sanchez presents her latest book of short stories 'El Patronato' at Casa de las Tejerinas

The literary presentation will take place next Thursday, October 23, at 6:00 p.m., with free access until full capacity is reached.
The Estepona City Council informs that next Thursday, October 23, at 18:00 hours, will take place in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, the presentation of the new book of short stories by the author Maribel Sanchez Gonzalez, 'El Patronato'.
Feelings, intrigue, emotions and all the deadly sins come together in this book to weave a web of stories, with the common thread of intrigue and suspense.
"Opening the minds of others is my duty as a social writer. If any of these stories manages to move you in such a way that you stop to think and rethink your habits and teachings, then my goal is fulfilled," explains the author.
Maribel Sánchez González was born in the town of Jimena de la Frontera, Cadiz, and is based in Algeciras. She created her own company at the age of 21. She is self-taught and very versatile: craftswoman, painter, poet, writer, designer, pattern maker, businesswoman, liqueur producer…
As a writer and poet, she has participated in recitals, magazines, radio and television, Barcelona book fair, she was a finalist in the international contest of social denunciation, first prize for short stories, she has collaborated in different magazines and anthology books with poetry, stories and articles. In 2017 he debuted as a prologue writer.
His first book was "Inquietudes", which he illustrated with his own paintings. Then he dared with "Alejandro y la Pócima prodigiosa" of children's literature. Later he surprised us with a book with an international award, "Mi sombra y yo", composed of poems, stories and articles. In 2019 she launched with a novel based on a true event: "Una Historia Olvidada", with which she won the critics' award. This novel has been adapted to the big screen with international nominations and awards. In 2023 she presented us with a very suggestive book of short stories: "A Woman in Red". Now, in 2025 she surprises us with another very intriguing book of short stories entitled "El Patronato".
