Progress on Istán Road Construction Reaches 80% Completion
The construction of the Istán road is now 80% complete and is expected to be finished before the end of the year. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, and the Minister of Development, Territorial Articulation, and Housing of the Andalusian Government, Rocío Díaz, have visited the works, which have a final budget of 4.7 million euros, co-financed 60% by the regional administration and 40% by the City Council. The project aims to modernize a road owned by the autonomous community, which also serves an important urban function by connecting numerous residential areas and facilities in the municipality.
