San Pedro Alcántara's Seafront Promenade Outdoor Exercise Areas Improved with Upgraded Fitness Machines
The City Council has completed the comprehensive renovation of the biosaludable machines located on the San Pedro Alcántara Seafront Promenade with the aim of enhancing the safety, functionality, and conditions of use of these outdoor exercise facilities. The project, which involved an investment of nearly 20,000 euros, included the replacement of 12 units at three locations, with the installation of one last device adapted for people with reduced mobility planned. Deputy Mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, explained that the intervention 'responds to the requests made by residents and regular users of these spaces, especially by the elderly,' and highlighted that the coastal path 'is one of the main areas for physical activity practice due to the high number of users throughout the day.'
