The Casa de Las Tejerinas hosts the abstract art exhibition of the artist Fernando López Lorrio.

The exhibition presents works that mix different artistic trends as well as the incorporation of volumes or the use of tools other than brushes.
The Estepona City Hall informs that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host until June 18 the art exhibition of the artist Fernando Lopez Lorrio.
Following a family tradition, Fernando López Lorrio began his artistic activity in 1996 in a self-taught way. He has attended painting classes at the Aula de Arte of the University of Alcalá de Henares and took the course “In the Studio: Postwar Abstract Painting” at the MoMA in New York. He has studied different artistic trends, focusing on abstract expressionism and constructivism, incorporating volumes with matter and turning the practice of collage into an experimental laboratory where, with tools and materials other than brushes and pigments, he has developed a pure painting without paint, seeking a path towards abstraction through expression. His work is inspired by literature, travel books, cities and real or imaginary landscapes, which have inspired images of unreachable places.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 20:00 hours and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 hours and from 16:00 to 20:00 hours, with free access.
