The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host an exhibition of watercolors by the artist Tijen Ercen.

The exhibition will remain on display from July 3 to 16, with free access.
The Estepona City Council informs that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host from July 3 an exhibition of the artist Tijen Ercen.
The exhibition consists of a total of seventeen large format works, and will remain on display for viewing until July 16, Tuesday to Friday, from 09:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 hours, with free access.
Tijen Ercen left Turkey in 1977 and went to Germany to study. After her studies, she worked 40 years in Germany in the pharmaceutical sector for the two largest companies in the USA.
Besides her work, modeling, fashion, art, design, colors and creating new ideas were always her passion. She never had enough time to delve into her ideas and bring them to fruition. After retirement she has found enough time to continuously and intensively work on them, and create her art.
“It all started with a simple idea driven by a deep passion. Sustainability is my vision. I want to be part of it to keep our planet clean and take care of our resources. I create my art with repurposed coffee capsules and old frames filled with epoxy resin. I do not repair, polish or paint them. Some frames I choose have damage to their original shape, style or color. My art is authentic, unique and my clients receive a certificate.
I now reside in Marbella with a small business, and pride myself on personal attention and dedication to every detail. My approach is based on quality and integrity, ensuring that everything I do reflects my commitment to excellence,” says the artist.
