The City Council has opened registration for the 7th “Estepona de Moda” Young Designers Competition

Those interested may submit their collections by August 31. Eight finalists will present their collections on September 26 during the 10th Estepona Fashion Week.
The Estepona City Council announces that registration is now open for the 7th “Estepona de Moda” Young Designers Competition, which will take place as part of the 10th Estepona Fashion Week, from September 23 to 26.
This competition aims to support and recognize the work of designers who are between the ages of 18 and 35 as of December 31, 2026, and who were born in Spain or can prove that they reside and/or study in Spain at the time the rules of participation are published.
The contest organizers will select eight finalists, who will present their work in a fashion show to be held on September 26 at the Botanical Garden and Orchid House.
On that same day, a jury composed of various professionals from the fashion industry will evaluate the submitted designs and the runway presentation, as well as the originality, quality, creativity, and innovation of the entries, in accordance with current aesthetic trends in the fashion market.
The following prizes have been established for the top eight finishers: the winner will receive a prize of €1,000 and a trophy. The runner-up will receive a prize of €500 and a trophy, and the third-place finisher will receive €300 and a trophy. In addition, the City Council will award five honorable mentions of €200 each.
The contest rules, available on the City Council’s bulletin board, stipulate that participation is limited to individuals; proposals submitted by two or more people will not be accepted. Interested individuals must submit a single collection in any of the various styles of the fashion industry, consisting of a total of 6 designs.
The registration form, included in Annex I of the Rules, must be submitted through the City Council’s online portal at https://estepona.sedelectronica.es/
