The City Council schedules ten free dance shows for summer nights’25

The Parque del Orquidario, Plaza Antonia Guerrero, Plaza del Reloj, Parque El Calvario, and Plaza de la Juventud, in Cancelada, will be the dance stages for the performances during the summer nights.

Estepona City Council reports that different public spaces, such as the Botanical Orchid Park, Plaza Antonia Guerrero, Plaza del Reloj, El Calvario Park, or the Plaza de la Juventud, in Cancelada, will be the scene, throughout the summer, of the dance performances framed in the ‘Agenda Cultural de Verano 2025’.

These performances will be in charge of dance students, mostly from the various municipal academies located in the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel.From July 8 to August 19, a total of ten free performances, which will begin at 21:30 pm will take place:

– Tuesday, July 8, in the Plaza del Reloj: FLAMENCO AND MODERN DANCE. “El Taller del Arte”, a creative space directed by dancers José Franco and Inmaculada Carmona.

– Tuesday, July 15, at the Botanical Orchid Park: FLAMENCO, SPANISH CLASSICAL, MODERN DANCE AND BALLET. Dance Studio of Gemma Sanchez “La Milana”.

– Thursday, July 17, at the Botanical Orchid Park: DANZATERAPIA. Workshop “=ES” (Equals) of Danzaterapia of the delegation of Social Services and Social Integration, led by Inmaculada Chacón.

– Monday, July 21, in the Plaza del Reloj: DANCE. Students of the Dance Academy directed by Monica Peña will offer a sample of different styles of dance, with its own stamp.

– Tuesday, July 22, at the Plaza del Reloj: CLASSICAL BALLET, MODERN JAZZ AND LATIN DANCES. The MT Dance School, directed by Martina Tessaro, presents a modern dance show, with lyrical parts, Latin influences and classical technique with elements of Spanish dance.

– Wednesday, July 23, in the Plaza José Vázquez de Cancelada: DANZATERAPIA. Workshop “=ES” (Equals) of Danzaterapia of the delegation of Social Services and Social Integration, led by Inmaculada Chacón.

– Tuesday, July 29, at El Calvario Park: SPANISH DANCE, FLAMENCO AND MODERN DANCE. Aula de Danza Española y Flamenco, directed by Eva Alarcón, and group ‘Ocean Danza y Acrobacia’ directed by Laura and Sara Perea.

– Tuesday, August 5, at the Botanical Orchid Park: FLAMENCO. Dance Academy ‘Sólo Flamenco’, directed by Ana Guerrero.

– Tuesday, August 12, at the Orquidario Botanical Park: Ballroom DANCING, CABARET, FLAMENCO AND MODERN DANCE. Classroom Ballroom Dancing, Cabaret and Oriental Dance, directed by Mariví Rodríguez, and Modern Dance and Flamenco group, with Claudia Ramírez “La Marivilla”.

– Tuesday, August 19, at the Plaza del Reloj: SPANISH DANCE, FLAMENCO AND MODERN DANCE. Aula de Danza Española y Flamenco, directed by Eva Alarcón, and group ‘Ocean Danza y Acrobacia’ directed by Laura and Sara Perea.
