The City Council will celebrate Halloween Night with a big party, performances and prizes for the best costumes.
The party will be held at the municipal booth and will feature bouncy castles, costume contest, 'Pasaje del Terror' and the concert of 'Malpaso'. For its part, the neighborhood of Cancelada will also hold a Halloween party from 17:00 to 23:00 hours with performances and costume contests in the central Plaza de la Juventud.
Estepona City Council has organized a big party aimed at family audiences to celebrate Halloween Night 2025, which will take place next Friday, October 31 at the Municipal House of the Fairgrounds.
The Halloween party will take place from 19.00 to 00:00 hours and will feature costume contests, bouncy castles, treats for the traditional children's 'sweet prank' of 'Trick or Treat', the dance performance 'The Night of Lost Souls', at 20:00 hours, and the concert, at 21:30 hours, by the local music group, 'Malpaso'. This family party will have as master of ceremonies the young actor Carlos Llovet Esteponero.
The councilor attached to the delegations of Culture and Festivities, Macarena Diánez, said that, for the occasion, the Municipal House will change its usual appearance to "welcome beings from beyond the grave and phantasmagoric that will give atmosphere to the party. In addition to the costumes, there will be decorative elements, such as pumpkins, skeletons or mummies. Another of the attractions of the night will be the 'Passage of Terror', which will feature actors who will recreate scary scenes. During the Halloween Night will remain open the bar of the municipal booth, with popular prices, managed by the Brotherhood Nuestra Señora del Carmen Coronada.
In relation to the contest, for which no prior registration is required, the Consistory has established the following categories and prizes for this edition, whose awards ceremony will be held at 21:00 hours:
- Five best characterized groups: 500 € each.
- Ten most terrifying characters: 100 € each.
The mayor Macarena Diánez encourages citizens to participate in this event in costume and to be original and creative designs, to create a great horror-fantasy atmosphere.
Halloween Party in Cancelada
The suburbs will also have its own Halloween party to be held in the Plaza de la Juventud in Cancelada. The party will take place from 17:00 to 23:00 hours on October 31 with a program for the whole family:
- 17:00 hours. Masks and face painting workshop.
-18:00 hours. Terrifying dance by the academy of Ana Guerrero.
- 19:00 hours. Entertainment show
-20:00 hours. Costume contest with the following prizes:
- Scariest character: 100 euros + lot of horror movies.
- Scariest child character: 50 euros + lot of movies.
- Special prize of the AMPA of CEIP Ramón Lago to the most terrifying family.
From 9:00 pm until closing time the party will be enlivened by DJ David Tex. In addition, throughout the party the AMPA of CEIP Ramón Lago will manage a bar with popular prices.
