Estepona City Council informs that the theater company LaJoven will represent the play ‘Invisible’, based on the acclaimed novel by Eloy Moreno, next Friday, June 19, at 8:00 pm, in the Auditorium Felipe VI. A show produced by the Fundación Teatro Joven, with the support of the Bogaris Foundation, and the collaboration of the City Council.

The play is aimed primarily at students in 2nd year of ESO and Intermediate Level Training Cycles, as well as the general public, and admission is free, after collecting invitations at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, from June 15.

The play ‘Invisible’, adapted by playwright José María Miró, National Award for Dramatic Literature 2024, and directed by José Luís Arellano García, is a cultural proposal of great social and educational relevance, which deals with honesty and depth issues of the utmost topicality, such as bullying, misunderstanding, empathy and the need for acceptance, giving visibility to a reality that affects many children and young people and encouraging the collective reflection of students, families, teachers and institutions.

Fundación Teatro Joven promotes this theatrical project that places young people and adolescents as protagonists, to foster their emotional development, critical thinking and social awareness, as well as generating employment for young artists, technicians and managers who seek a generational closeness with its majority users.

Since its creation in 2012, this entity has performed 27 shows in more than 100 cities in Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal and Germany, which have accumulated more than 400,000 spectators. It has also received more than a dozen awards of great relevance, including the ‘Best Project for Cultural Industries’ of the Ministry of Culture, and the Cross of the Order of the Dos de Mayo of the Community of Madrid.
