The Estepona City Council reports that a total of 29,000 people have visited the exhibition Van Gogh 'Greatest Hits', which closed its doors yesterday at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos. An immersive exhibition that has allowed the viewer to immerse themselves in the canvases of this great artist.
The exhibition, which was inaugurated last June 5, has made a journey through the work and life of this painter, marked by suffering, madness and an intense search for beauty in a world full of pain. Through this unique experience, visitors have been able to feel the anguish and passion of Van Gogh, going through an emotional journey that has allowed them to experience art from a completely new perspective, as if they were inside the paintings of a man who captured his deepest emotions in every stroke and color.
Also, thanks to the collaboration of the City Council and the organizing company, around 700 5th grade students from Estepona schools have visited for free this incredible exhibition, which has offered educational content, facts and curiosities about the life of the author, an artist appreciated only after his death, whose works are among the most expensive in the world.
Immersive exhibitions enjoy great popularity worldwide, as they develop an innovative concept of museum, more interactive and emotional, making artist and viewer converge and coexist through the work.
Van Gogh 'Greatest Hits' has offered a journey through the art, life, imagination and impression of the great Dutch painter, thanks to a large multi-screen system and more than 40 projectors that have allowed viewers to experience the work of the great artist in a completely new and immersive way.
