The Municipal Library of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center will be open on Sundays to facilitate preparation for competitive examinations, end-of-year exams and university entrance exams.

The initiative, which will be in force from May 23 to June 28, aims to facilitate the study of students who need to have adequate space for study.

The Estepona City Council informs that the Municipal Library of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center will reopen on Sundays to facilitate the preparation of oppositions, end of course exams and university entrance exams.

This measure, which is maintained for another year due to the good reception and usefulness demonstrated in previous editions, will come into effect the last weekend of May and will be maintained until the end of June.

The councilor attached to the area of Culture, Macarena Diánez, said that this initiative responds to the demand of students and opponents, who need to have adequate study spaces in a particularly intense dates, from the academic point of view.

To this end, the Municipal Library, located in the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, has enabled the room Antonia Guerrero, located on the second floor of the building, specifically for study, consultation and individual work. The room will be open on Sundays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

With this measure, students will have a public space that favors concentration and academic performance at a key stage of the course.

On the other hand, the María Zambrano room of the Municipal Library, located on the second floor of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center and used for the usual book, film and music lending service, will maintain its usual opening hours, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 21:00 hours, uninterrupted, and on Saturdays, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours.
