The pop rock band Maldita Nerea, star of the ‘La Noche en Blanco’ 2026 program in Estepona

During this cultural event, which will be held on Saturday, June 6, visitors will be able to visit the city’s museums free of charge from 8 p.m. to midnight, and enjoy workshops, conferences, music, poetry, theater, parades and dance.
The Estepona City Council reports that the new edition of ‘La Noche en Blanco’ will be held next Saturday, June 6. The councilor of the area of Culture and Festivities, Macarena Diánez, has announced that the group Maldita Nerea will be the protagonist of the concert that will take place in the Plaza del Ajedrez, from 23.00 hours.
La Noche en Blanco 2026 will offer various free cultural and leisure activities. Thus, in the former Adult Center on Terraza Street, a laughter therapy workshop will be held by Isabela Mendez, actress, oral storyteller, integral artist, writer and laughter therapist, while in the Casa de las Tejerinas a creative painting workshop on canvas fans will be given by Maria Rupa, head of the project ‘Art a plan’. Both workshops will have the places limited to 25 people for each session, at 20:00 and 21:00 hours. The Contemporary Cultures Library of the Mirador del Carmen will host at 8:30 pm the conference “Dressing emotion; the eternity of David Delfin”. The event is presented as an opportunity to rediscover the late creator, whose influence is still alive in new generations of artists and designers. Prior registration at bcc@estepona.es
Other varied activities of the Night in White will be the parade “The Land of Wonders”, which will start at 21:00 hours from the Botanical Orchid Park, where you can then enjoy a dance show full of variety, strength and emotion, by the Ocean School of Dance and Acrobatics, Laura and Sara Perea. On stage they will join styles such as modern dance, contemporary dance and acrobatic dance, which will end with a show inspired by Beyoncé.
As for music, the Magnum Mysterium Choir of Estepona will offer the concert entitled ”Sones of light and color’ at 21:30 pm in the Plaza San Francisco, under the direction of Miguel Angel Garrido Sanchez, with piano accompaniment by Brigitta Kovács and the performance, as a soloist, the soprano Isabel Moreno.
In addition, the Plaza Manilva will host the poetry recital ‘A través de la luz. A narrated flamenco opera’, with the artist Fernando Vacas and storyteller Juan Antonio Bernier, which will feature the collaboration of the School of Dance Lourdes Bazan, local headquarters of the School of Flamenco de Andalucía.
The theater will also be the protagonist in this cultural night, with the representation of the funny theatrical comedy ‘Vuela vuela’, at 22:00 hours, in the Plaza del Reloj. An opportunity to learn about the adventures of the handsome Bernardo and his three flight attendants.
During the Noche en Blanco, several museums in the city will open free of charge to the public from 20.00 to 00.00 hours. As explained by the councilman of Historical Heritage, Daniel Garcia, in the Casa de las Tejerinas you can visit the exhibition of contemporary art ‘Homage to Mario Algaze’, belonging to the private collection of Jorge Reynardus, and the pictorial exhibitions of the painter and designer Isabelle Taieb Nicolaï and the artist from Burgos based in Estepona, Pilar Ruiz Manso. Likewise, the Castle of San Luis will also remain open during these extraordinary hours. Meanwhile, those interested in visiting the facilities of the Interpretation Center of the Megalithic Necropolis of Corominas, in the San Isidro Labrador Municipal Park, can enjoy a guided tour at 20:00 hours, upon registration by calling 675 942 975.
The municipal responsible for Culture and Festivities encourages all citizens to participate in all the free activities for this Saturday, and enjoy the evening hours of the exhibition spaces and heritage of great value available to Estepona.
