The world of video games comes to Estepona with a large interactive show for all ages

This free event, to be held on October 18 and 19, will feature a retro zone, virtual reality, workshops, tournaments and the latest Nintendo releases.

The Estepona City Council informs that on October 18 and 19, the Palacio de Congresos will host the Salón del Videojuego, a free event for all audiences that will bring together the best of retro and current digital entertainment, with multiple thematic areas, tournaments, workshops and interactive activities.

Among the main attractions is a spectacular arcade area that will include a section dedicated to classic video games from the 80s and 90s, with original machines that will delight the nostalgic.

The virtual reality area will allow the public to try out some of the most innovative technologies on the market, including such impressive games as Beat Saber. In addition, an inflatable arch from La Fábrica del Videojuego will be installed, under which VR will be placed next to 50-inch screens that will allow the public to follow live games with flight simulation games and other varied titles.

The show will also feature a complete Nintendo area, where it will be possible to play some of its most emblematic videogames such as Mario Kart 8 or Taiko. In addition, two of its latest releases, recently released at the end of September, will be available for preview: LEGO Party, ideal for playing with the family, and Sony Racing: Crossworld, a fast-paced racing game with interconnected worlds.

There will also be areas dedicated to Xbox, PlayStation, dancing machines and a special driving section, with the latest games in the genre.

The event will include workshops and masterclasses given by industry professionals, such as illustrators and digital artists, offering an insight into the more creative and industrial side of the videogame world. As an extra incentive, 10 tickets to OXO Video Game Museum will be raffled among all attendees.

The Estepona Videogame Show will open its doors on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October, from 11:00 to 20:00 hours, with free admission.
